Three credit hours.

Was POLS 2303. Introduction to the Political Science subfields of Comparative Politics and International Relations. Analysis of the various types of political structures around the world and how they shape the behavior of individuals and groups. Examination of the interaction of several actors on the international stage, such as states, multinational organizations, activists, and transnational terrorist groups. Introduction to investigating these phenomena as a social science, the major theoretical and empirical approaches in both subfields, and enduring questions of domestic and international politics.
