ACCT 58163 - (was 5381) Legal, Regulatory and Ethical Environment for Accountants

Three credit hours.

Was ACCT 5381. A comprehensive overview of business law and ethics topics, such as the Uniform Commercial Code, accountants’ liability, government regulation of business, agency, contracts, debtor-creditor relationships, real property, insurance, and other topics covered in the CPA exam. Open to all graduate business students, but not those with credit for ACCT 48163 (was ACCT 4381).

Prerequisites: MKTG 28073 (was MKTG 2380) Legal Environment of Business (or equivalent) with a grade of C or greater.
